This space is the first complete project of The Church Project Community Art Center, with a huge thanks to The Arts in Society Grant, funded in April 2024 and completed in March 2025. 

It is common for amateur voice actors and podcasters to begin their recording career in a closet, because clothes are natural sound dampeners. A closet can also hold many identities/personalities - many versions of self overtime, a space for secrets and vulnerability, and a space of realization.

We welcome all people who wish to record stories, conversations, and songs in this space.

​Cost: $60/hour and you get your raw file same day, required to bring your own thumb/external drive.

Recordings are "field style" meaning you talk/sing, we record. At this time we do not provide live mixing or layered tracks. ​
